Help! How can I keep a pesky sparrow from building it's nest in my purple martin house?

I've torn the sparrow's nest down about 5 times already. Do I just keep taking the sparrow's nest out. I am really getting annoyed with this pesky little bird.

How about putting up some pesky sparrow birdhouses...they will nest in any cheap birdhouse. Think of it this way, the sparrow is one of smallest and most vulnerable birds, he might be boring brown but he stands by his babies, they are great "family" birds to watch. They stay together , both parents with the babies for a long time, then start over. Don't kill em...;(
